Originally constructed in 1876, this marvellously restored & welcoming property is situated in the centre of the wonderful old town of Pollença. Boasting breathtaking views of the Puig de Maria and the bay’s of Alcúdia & Pollença, it’s convenient location is just 2 minutes walk from all of the historic places of interest, the Calvari steps, Sant Domingo Cloisters and Plaça Mayor with it’s myriad pavement cafés and classy restaurants.

Ca’n Clara is the epitomy of a quality Mallorquin townhouse. This is evident as soon as you approach the beautiful stonework façade and traditional shuttered windows. Nestled in the centre of town, amongst the narrow winding streets, this property has been totally restored and reformed to extremely high standards and boasts the perfect blend of original features and modern and convenient fixtures & fittings for guests comfort. The house retains not only it’s original stonework, but also original open wooden beamed ceilings, winding staircases and typical tiled floors throughout.

Enter through the double wooden doors into a large stone walled entrance lobby, furnished traditionally, it not only serves as an area to greet guests, but also as a peaceful reading room to escape to, for those quiet moments with a good book.

Through a beautifully restored archway door leads you straight in to the main living area. This comprises a large, leather ‘L’ shaped sofa suite, quality wooden furniture, 32″ L.C.D flatscreen TV with full satellite access, DVD player and Playstation 2 with a full range of DVD’s & games to suit everyones tastes. This area is tastefully and softly lit exuding a relaxed, warming ambience. Fitted with a wall mounted radiator, the lounge is just as cosy during the winter months.

Further on through the ground floor, you will find the spacious and beautifully furnished dining room. This area has many stunning features, not least the towering ceiling with glass roof . Originally an outside area in the centre of this property, the restoration has turned this on it’s head and now, the full width glass roof allows natural light to flood through and illuminate the whole of the living area. The dining suite is of exquisite quality and seats 6 people comfortably. Again this room is equipped with wall mounted radiator, quality wood furnishings and a beautiful feature brick hearth fireplace with fully functioning wood burning stove.

The fully equipped kitchen is accessed through the dining area and is therefore conveniently located for serving. There are 4 beautifully furnished bedrooms, two of which, are situated on the first floor of the property. The first floor is accessed directly from the entrance lobby, via a charming winding staircase. Bedroom 2 is equipped with a king size bed & double wardrobes and overlooks the street below through a beautifully ornate shuttered window. Also on this level, bedroom 3 is equipped with twin beds and a double wardrobe. This bedroom overlooks the rear of the property. The two bedrooms share a large family bathroom, equipped with modern quality chrome fittings and porcelain bathroom suite. There is a large walk-in shower, wash basin and w.c.

Accessed via another enchanting winding stairway, the 2nd floor of this amazing house is home to the master bedroom, bedroom 4 and a wonderful garden roof terrace.

The Master bedroom is designed to look straight out over the garden terrace and affords a direct view of the famous ‘Puig de Maria’ whilst laying in bed!! It has a king size bed and matching suite of furniture, quite some place to wake in the morning. This room is also equipped with twin cycle hot & cold air conditioning.

The master bedroom has full en-suite bathroom facilities which comprise a bath, shower, wash basin and w.c. Again, quality chrome fittings and designer porcelain bathroom suite have been installed.

Bedroom 4 can be equipped with a single bed, or to suit individual requirements the bed can be removed to provide a spacious dressing area to compliment the master bedroom.

The garden roof terrace is a real treat to end the tour of this charming property. Furnished with a small table and chairs, sun-chairs and  BBQ, it is a fantastic area to relax, dine or sunbathe. With views onto the ‘Puig de Maria’ and the monastery atop, it is the perfect place to take in the full glory of the sun’s warmth. Look left and you see the Bahia de Pollença, a little further to the right, the Bahia de Alcúdia and in the distance Alcanada! This elevated area really does maximise the beautiful views afforded by the region of Pollença.
