As it’s name suggests, Ca´n Rey really is fit for a King!! Recently constructed using the highest quality materials and fitted luxuriously throughout to create a wonderful ambience and charm, the villa is nestled in full view of the ‘Sierra Tramuntana’ but just 5 minutes drive from either Pollença town or the Port de Pollença. Just 10 minutes away sits the sleepy village of Cala San Vicente, which boasts two of the most amazing cove beaches in the North of Mallorca. Just a short 45 minute drive from Palma airport.
The villa is built all on one level and is equipped with twin cycle air-conditioning system, both hot & cold and underfloor heating making it ideal for rental all year round. Drive off the winding country lanes and park on your private gated driveway. This impressive property stands in it’s own private grounds, surrounded by established trees and native shrubs, affording you plentiful privacy and peacefulness.
There are 4 bedrooms, all fitted with plasma screen T.V’s. The master bedroom has a ‘queen’ size bed and open-plan style bathroom with ‘his & her’ sinks, shower & bath. Bedroom 2 and 3 have ‘King’ size beds and both boast en-suite bathroom facilities, bedroom 2 being equipped with a monsoon shower and roman bath. Bedroom 4 is equipped with twin beds and has the use of a separate fully equipped family bathroom.
The kitchen is ultra-modern and fully equipped with island workstation, dishwasher, double fan oven, separate steam oven, magnetic hob, ice maker, fridge, freezer and a separate utility / laundry room containing a full range of house-keeping equipment! Even the most fickle chef would be in their element here.
The elegant lounge / living area stretches over half the total length of the house! It is designed to be used as two individual areas and is furnished as such. One area is concentrated around the amazing glass fronted wood burning stove, whilst the other is a more peaceful and light area, perfect for relaxing with that good book! The entire space is equipped with a quality home cinema system and satellite T.V. From this area you are able to gain access to one of several outside terraced areas through a choice of french doors.
The adjoining dining room sits between the kitchen and the living area. This room too shares the benefit of the double fronted wood burning stove for those cosy evening meals. The main table sits 8 people very comfortably and has beautiful views over and direct access to, through huge sliding doors, the covered terrace and beautiful gardens and pool side area beyond.
The principal ‘covered’ terrace area is beautifully & comfortably furnished and surrounded by fine flowing curtains. Beyond, the beautifully maintained ornamental gardens boast gorgeous native planting and a wealth of abundant citrus fruit trees. The large lawns surround 2 sides of the villa and provide a lovely green aspect and contrast to the terraced areas.
This property is blessed with a large 12 metre x 6 metre private swimming pool and a private gymnasium with several fitness machines and also free weights for the highly energetic amongst you!! There is also a separate undercover BBQ and exterior kitchen area with sink and work surfaces.
Maid services, garden maintenance and pool cleaning are all included in the advertised rental price. For stays of 7 nights, a mid-week towel change is provided. For stays longer than 7 nights, a weekly towel and linen change is provided plus a mid-stay clean.
